Sean Rubin

Sean Rubin was born in Brooklyn, New York. As a kid he wanted to go to art school, but he wound up at Princeton University because it had the biggest library he had ever seen. Sean studied Art and Archeology and spent a year teaching high school before returning to New York City. He currently lives on Manhattan’s Upper West Side.

Sean has illustrated for the New York Times Best-selling Redwall Series, including the final two Redwall books, The Sable Quean and The Rogue Crew. He also contributed to the Eisner-winning Mouse Guard: Legends of the Guard anthology. Sean’s upcoming graphic novel/children’s book hybrid, Bolivar, is due from Archaia in Spring 2013

When Sean is not writing or drawing books, he is Chief Creative Officer of MNY Group, a company he co-founded in 2011.
