Jon Rea

Jon Rea, a graduate of Syracuse University with a BFA in Illustration, lives and works from his home in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.  A native of the Lower Makefield area, he now resides in Yardley with his wife Jill, son Jacob, and newborn daughter, Madeline. With credits from within the traditional illustration and graphic design markets, Jon debuted his work for the comic book industry in 2002 with his painted work for local publisher Fintan Studio’s “The Forgotten”.  He is an adjunct professor at Cabrini College in Radnor, Pennsylvania in the Graphic Design Department. Jon’s synthetic style rises from a mixture of physical and digital tools that scrape, scratch, and click towards layered and symbolic imagery.
