DANIEL QUANTZ first collaborated with R.J. Ryan on the successful 2004 launch of Marvel Comics’ all-ages series MARVEL AGE SPIDER-MAN, with Ryan, working as a West Coast writers recruiter for Marvel, bringing in Quantz to script the book’s first six issues over original 1960s Stan Lee plots. The series’ first issue was also Marvel’s selection for 2004’s Free Comic Book Day.
Crafted over the course of a year and a half, SYNDROME marks the Los Angeles-based pair’s first full-length graphic novel as a writing team. Quantz is a graduate of University of Southern California’s School of Cinema and Television.
