Damien

Damien Jacob was born in 1970 in Châtenay-Malabry, France. After obtaining a degree in graphic arts and design, he began work at an advertising agency specializing in pharmaceuticals. He abandoned that job in pursuit of more creative work, studying first at l’Institut Saint-Luc in Brussels and then at l’École des Beaux-Arts in Angoulême, where he first began to explore comics illustration. He met Jean-Pierre Pécau and began several collaborations with him, including Les Fées Noires and Arcanes Majeur.
