About Archaia

Founded as a niche publisher in 2002, Archaia Entertainment, LLC has become a world renowned graphic novel publisher and media rights holder, with of over 50 titles to its credit, including Mouse Guard, Return of the Dapper Men, Gunnerkrigg Court, Rust, Awakening, Mr. Murder is Dead, Lucid, Tumor, Artesia, and An Elegy for Amelia Johnson. Additionally, Archaia has built unmatched co-development relationships with some of the most recognizable brands in Hollywood, including The Jim Henson Company where Archaia has built an entire graphic novel product line.

At the core, Archaia is known for its great content. From its unparalleled reputation for publishing innovative, imaginative, and indelible stories, to its numerous industry awards and nominations (including the most recent 2011 Eisner Award for “Best Album of the Year” with Return of the Dapper Men), Archaia has proven time-and-time again that it has built one of the industry’s most visually stunning and eclectic slates of graphic novels. This sentiment has also been shared by countless industry news sources, including Ain’t it Cool News, Graphic Policy, and Comic Related, which all honored Archaia as “Best Publisher” of 2010.

Beyond the halls of publishing, Archaia continues to emerge as a prolific storyteller in all facets of the entertainment industry, extending its popular titles into film, television, gaming, and digital media, with its most recent deal with 20th Century Fox to make Archaia’s Rust into a major motion picture. Archaia continues to seek properties that are active in other mediums, including Bleedout (video game), Immortals (film), and Conspiracy of the Planet of the Apes (film).

As Archaia continues to build bridges across all mediums, the one true constant remains: above all else, Archaia is great content.
